I have a yamaha roadstar 1600, '03 model.  It has a couple of performance tweaks and will run with virtually anything on the road.  So far the only issue that I have had is that the shifter will occassionally hang up and not return when engaged.

So I am all in on a Roadstar and the yamaha brand in general.  One of the greatest quotes that I have heard about my bike is it is "Mr. Harley" for all the Harley riders.
